Banlon was the canvas for Marilyn Brooks’ original prints. It gave her the chance to express her love of painting with colour in her fashion designs.

The models here are wearing Brooks’ designs from the 1960s. It was a favourite of hers because it was washable, packable and light. Marilyn did so many prints that were inspired by her yearly trips to Acapulco and Banlon was the perfect blank canvas for her to be able to creative something unique, expressive and fun for her fashion line of clothing.
