Thursday was the day for Château de Versailles. We took the RER train right to Versailles, got off at the end of the line and walked two blocks to the tourist office where we bought our ticket for 22 Euros...that also included Marie Antoinette's private château.
The little train that takes you around is slow but fun and is 7 Euros. Wear your walking shoes because the grounds are large and you will want to see as much as possible. I love Marie Antoinette's private château and we had lunch in front of her home. There is a little café and nice little tables to enjoy your lunch under some trees.
We were back in the city by 6p.m.
