Yes, we do love Paris and at your request, we are returning in October 2009 for another 8 day adventure.

Come with Marilyn and Kennedy for a tour of this magical city of lights.

Itinerary

DAY 01: Saturday, October 3
 TORONTO-PARIS

We leave in the evening for a direct flight to Paris arriving Sunday morning.


 
DAY 02: Sunday, October 4

Our private coach meets us at the Paris airport and takes us to the Eiffel Park Hotel in the 7th district.

After check-in, we walk to the local market where the cheese, wine and fruit are so fresh and so delicious.

It is also a great place to have a have a coffee and croissant or light meal.

This is the afternoon for the exciting Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe horse race at Longchamp racetrack.

No charge for most museums today or visit the weekend flea market.

DAY 03: Monday, October 5

After breakfast at our hotel, I lead a group to the shopping area around the Bon Marché department store.

Most early evenings, we meet on the terrace for wine and cheese.

DAY 04: Tuesday, October 6

After breakfast, we take the Metro and visit two major department stores - Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.

October is sale time at Galeries Lafayette and both stores have all the best designers.

DAY 05: Wednesday, October 7

This is our day to travel into the country on our private coach for a special day.

We have a pot luck picnic in the picturesque area that some of the best French artists have painted.

DAY 06: Thursday, October 8

After breakfast, a Canadian friend who lives in Paris takes us for a walking tour of the hottest new boutiques for fashion and home accessories.

DAY 07: Friday, October 9

Morning free to explore Paris.

In the afternoon, we meet at Galeries Lafayette for the Fall/Holiday Fashion show.

Bring your camera to take pictures of the vista from their 7th floor terrace.

DAY 08: Saturday, October 10

We take the Metro to Montmartre for the Vendages de Montmartre wine festival and the mussels at Chez Catherine.

Also the Dali museum is here and the many artists are in the square exhibiting their art.

We celebrate our last evening with a special Au Revoir dinner where you receive an original Marilyn Brooks watercolour.

DAY 09: Sunday, October 11

After breakfast, our private coach takes us to the airport.

Afternoon arrival in Toronto.
